Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actor. Her birth date was August 4th in 1981. Her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful and in the tv show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. The actress is currently playing Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. The roles she played in the drama show Rectify and the sci-fi show Timeless made her a star. Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a character in the soap-opera All My Children. The performance earned her an Soap Opera Digest Award' for Best Female Newcomer. She was a frequent guest for several years in TV series. She received praise for the character she played in the show in the role of the Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Her beautiful appearance and extraordinary acting talents made her an ideal candidate for an ardent fan base. In the film Campfire Stones, she played an important role in it when she was just 20 years old. Her other roles in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. Her role in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the TV program Timeless in which she portrayed the role of Lucy Preston, a history professor. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's role has been nominated in the Teen Choice Award.
