Aisha Jamila Hinds is a well-known American actress. She is known for her roles in the the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her acting versatility by providing outstanding performances on television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her role in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. It was, however, her performance as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's right to rights) in the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also praised for the role she performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for the third season. Recently Hind finished filming on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for release by mid-2019. Her dad Krishnaraj is an Army scientist who died in March of 2017 and his mother Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya Bachchan, an engineer in the Merchant Navy and is also her brother, works for her. The older brother of Bachchan's Aditya is was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai in the city, where she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College where she studied for an entire year completed her secondary education before entering D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she scored a 95% on the H.S.C. exams. She was a student of dance for the majority of her years as an adolescent. Her favorite course was Zoology. Bachchan studied architecture when she won the title of Miss World 1994. Her title brought her to the forefront of modeling. Her career was booming in PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also the opportunity to be a spokesmodel for L'Oreal Paris in 2003. Her acting career began to a good start by being praised for her performances as a lead in Iruvar (1997) as well as Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films challenged the fundamental model that defined Bollywood films of the day, and pushed Bachchan to the forefront of the New Bollywood. Bachchan became the queen of Bollywood due to her heartbreaking performance as Paro in the film Devdas. She plays an unfaithful love interest for the character of Paro in Devdas (2002) the film that became one of the most well-known Bollywood movies. Devdas also happened to be the very first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Following that, she was praised for her role in the film Chokher Bali (2003), an intense thriller based on Rabindranathtagore's novel. The that same year, she got chosen as the very first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan was able to bring both her glam power and beauty to her most acclaimed English film. In 2006, Bachchan returned to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April 2007. He's an Bollywood star and regular co-star.
